eMetaStar first developed WrapDB in 1999. Before HIPAA was implemented by law, we revised and redeveloped WrapDB to improve security, increase data integrity. After much research, we chose to develop WrapDB using Oracle Forms™ served from a 'three tier' architecture.

What are the improvements to WrapDB?

eMetaStar allows perspective customers to try WrapDB remotely by pulling the Oracle Forms ™ Client up on a web browser. WrapDB is available during regular offices hours : Monday - Friday : 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. ET. Currently WrapDB is not available. Please check back during regular office hours. You will find on this web page a link to the application. You may need to download a plugin for your browser. Please contact us at support@emetastar.com with any questions.

What can WrapDB do?

  • Easily navigated GUI web application for documenting all aspects of wound(s):
    new wounds, healing wounds, splitting and migrating wounds.
  • Insert photos of wounds and store in database with wound data.
  • Clinician can peruse but not change past data.
  • Data can be extracted, and used in highly detailed studies.
  • Multiple WrapDB applications can be used simultanously connecting to
    database server.
